Parish Administrator Announcement

Fr. Bryan Owen announced on September 14 that Judith Sharp has been promoted from Director of Accounting to Parish Administrator for St. Luke's Episcopal Church.

He stated that the promotion is both a recognition ofthe many responsibilities Judith has faithfully assumed during her nine and ahalf years of service and an expansion of her leadership role within theparish. As Parish Administrator, she will oversee key areas of churchoperations, including financial administration, human resources and staffsupport, property and facilities management, church operations, and leadershipsupport.

In this role, Judith will serve as the chief administrative staff leader for St. Luke's, helping to coordinate the day-to-day work of the church office and staff. She will provide direct supervision for most lay staff members, oversee performance reviews and goals, and help manage daily operations. As Rector, I will continue to maintain responsibility for the overall mission and ministry of the parish, as well as major personnel decisions and compensation matters.

The Parish Administrator provides day-to-day supervisionand operational leadership for parish staff, while the Rector retains overallauthority for mission, ministry, and personnel matters.
