Sunday Kids of the Kingdom

St. Luke’s is committed to the safety and wellness of all children.
Rest assured that your child is in a safe and nurturing environment, under the care of well-trained and loving staff members. The two-adult rule and the “Safe Church, Safe Communities” program, which focuses on child abuse awareness and prevention, are standard training for all of our staff and Children’s Ministry volunteers.

Bringing your children to church
Children are always welcome in our worship services! If for any reason you need to step out, you’ll find books and busy bags that sit just outside the door to Witter Hall. The nursery is also available if you need a changing table or rocking chairs. It is located just outside the gate of Witter headed down the breezeway to the parking lot.
About the nursery
Open to newborns through four-year-olds, the nursery is located just down the walkway from the church. The nursery is the first door just outside the gate to Witter Hall. If you are unable to find it, you can ask anyone for assistance. The nursery is open from 9:30 am until 12:00 pm every Sunday, with at least two trained staff members.

Children’s Chapel during the 10 a.m. Service
Children’s Chapel is offered during the 10 a.m. worship service for children ages four to eight. Before the service begins, you’ll see a Children’s Chapel adult leader carrying a special banner near the church entrance. Children are invited to gather at the banner and follow the leader to the Witter Conference Room for special prayers, lessons, and songs during the service. The leaders will bring the children back to church after the sermon to sit with their families.
Youth Church
Students in grades 6–12 are invited to participate in Youth Church during the main service on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month (unless otherwise noted). They begin in the sanctuary and are dismissed to their classroom at the start of the service, returning in time for the Peace.
Youth Church provides age-appropriate Christian formation and Bible study, creating space for students to deepen their faith and engage with Scripture in meaningful ways.
